She was active in her student body, serving as the Vice President of the Criminal Law Society. She also participated in the Domestic Violence Clinic, which provides survivors of domestic violence with direct representation as well as legal and extra-legal support. Mallory earned her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Criminal Justice, Law and Society from The George Washington University.
