About Lisa L. Collins, Attorney at Law

Our law firm helps to build families through adoption & assisted reproduction technologies across Tennessee.

The choice to pursue an adoption is a life long process and one based on love, whether you are a family choosing to add to that family through adoption or whether you are a birth parent choosing a family to raise your child. Although the legal aspect of adoption has a finite end, the effect lasts a lifetime. Because adoption is the single most legally significant event in your life, it is important to choose a lawyer that understands that significance. Since 1994, I have dedicated my career to building families through adoption and assisted reproduction technologies. I believe adoption to be a positive option for many families, birth parents and children. Adoption should always be child centered and should proceed to accomodate that child's best interests. My goal is to make sure that every adoption is legally secure, professionally handled and emotionally respected.

Hired Attorney Lisa L. Collins

We worked with Lisa in 2001 and we continually recommend her. She came highly recommended to us. She was straightforward, honest and crossed every i and dotted every t to make sure nothing was missed in the adoption process. She was clear and compassionate to us and our son’s birthmother. I also worked labor and delivery and met birth-moms who had lovely things to say about how they were treated by her. She has devoted her entire life/career to helping others build families. Highly recommend her!!

Hired Attorney Lisa L. Collins

Working with Lisa was amazing. Our adoption case was definitely not easy but she never gave up. I know that other attorneys would have dropped our case. She never gave up on us. I am now holding my baby girl forever. It was a very long year but she did it for us. We could never thank her enough for what she did for our family.

Ms. Collins assisted me on numerous occasions with questions/advice even before I secured her services. She was so very kind, knowledgeable, and professional but most of all very responsive. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
