After 40 years of active family law practice in Tennessee, Ms. Rogers is uniquely able to effectively analyze the most complex and high-conflict cases and use that experience and patience to help her clients. Ms. Rogers is a Nashville native having attended Hillsboro High School, Vanderbilt University, and the Nashville School of Law. She graduated from Vanderbilt University in 3 year Magna Cum Laude. She holds certifications in Pre-trial and Civil Trial Practice by the National Board of Trial Advocacy which only a very small percentage of counsel can achieve. Ms. Rogers has argued over 70 Appellate cases before the Tennessee Supreme Court and Court of Appeals.
Since opening her own practice in 1997 at the Wind in the Willows Mansion, Ms. Rogers is able to offer a home-like office for clients, with a full team of attentive attorneys, paralegals and support staff. Helen Rogers is much in demand as a speaker and writer on various legal issues including a published chapter on parental alienation issues. She served on the hearing panel for 5 years with the TN Board of Professional Responsibility. As the past chair of the TN Bar Association, and Family Law Executive Committee, she has worked with the top attorneys statewide. For 5 years, Ms. Rogers served in the capacity of Chairperson for the Metro Transportation Licensing Commission.
Ms. Rogers has also had an office in Franklin, Tn for over 25 years. She is admitted to practice in all courts including the US Supreme Court. Ms. Rogers is also a Rule 31 Listed Mediator and a trained collaborative divorce lawyer.
She is a lifelong member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Helen Rogers and Larry Kamm have been married for over 30 years and have been successful in practicing law together. They are proud parents of 3 married daughters and 5 grandchildren. Ms. Rogers enjoys yoga and playing bridge.
