C. Morgan Crocker is an associate in the Nashville office of Hall Booth Smith, where she focuses her practice on general liability and transportation matters.
Before joining HBS, Morgan served as an Assistant District Attorney for the 24th Judicial District of Tennessee. In that role, she independently managed all aspects of criminal prosecution in Henry County, including overseeing dockets with thousands of cases annually in both General Sessions and Circuit Courts. She served as lead prosecutor in multiple jury trials, handling everything from voir dire to closing arguments, and maintained consistent engagement with crime victims and law enforcement throughout the litigation process.
Her previous experience also includes clerking for the Shelby County Circuit Court in Memphis, where she conducted in-depth legal research and drafted judicial opinions. She also gained valuable legal training as a law clerk for an estate planning law firm.
Morgan earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where she served as business & media editor of the University of Memphis Law Review and held leadership positions in the Student Bar Association. She earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science, summa cum laude, also from the University of Memphis.
