I reached out to Attorney Chadwell by email from another state when I thought I might need a lawyer for a tenant/landlord issue my daughter was facing in her area. She responded very quickly and asked for a little more detail about the situation. After receiving it she replied (again, very promptly) and provided excellent, realistic counsel--the strengths and weaknesses of our argument, the possible costs and outcomes if legal action were to be pursued, etc. It ended up it probably wasn't going to be financially worth it to involve a lawyer, so we didn't. I sure felt better having made that decision based on solid counsel from a knowledgeable professional. For those who really do need the services of an attorney, I would highly recommend you speak to Ms. Chadwell.

I contacted Attorney Ellen Chadwell via e mail requesting information regarding collecting on a property lien issued by the courts. She was quick to respond and offered suggestions of procedures that could be done before sending her a retainer to start foreclosure proceedings. These suggestions were followed and the lien was paid off! I thank her for her knowledge and willingness to help. A true act of kindness!

Ellen T Chadwell , Esq. represented me when I had bought a condo unit that was infested with mold which I did no realized until I moved in and started getting respiratory problems. I had discovered that the apartment had water damage and subsequent mold. Ellen took the time to meet with my husband and we ended up retaining her. She was able to get us a settlement from the home insurance company which would not be possible without her. She is knowledgeable, patient, kind and honest.

Contacted this firm through the Martindale-Nolo Legal Network FIVE days ago and provided them with a summary of my case and heard not a beep from these people. How can you trust a law firm that ignores a potential client's request for help? All it takes is 2 seconds to say they are not interested. I would stay away from this firm.
