Spent $7000 in attorney's fees just to have the judge decline jurisdiction and send the case to California. Spending an additional $7000 in California. Seems too busy. Cannot call and talk to her personally. Advised us to serve divorce papers 5 days before the six-month child residency period passed. Did not adequately argue our side...judge believed defendant and determined my daughter's actions coming to Idaho was unjustified.
The firm's website makes a lot of promises about how well it’ll serve clients. But it would appear Kimberly Brooks -- who didn't represent me but a relative -- FAILED MISERABLY. What’s telling is she would almost never meet with her client in person and, when things got tough, gave her client the impression she couldn't care less (but still billed for full payment, of course). There certainly seems to be a lot of validity to the MANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS everywhere on the web given to Brooks Law in Nampa. Beware!
