Bret H. Davis is an attorney and certified public accountant and principal in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina law firm of Davis Law Firm, P.A., where he concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, elder law, Medicaid planning, special needs planning, probate, corporate law, tax law, and commercial transactions.
He is a member of the South Carolina Bar, Horry County Bar, North Carolina State Bar, and North Carolina Bar Association. Bret served on the Myrtle Beach Board of Zoning Appeals from 2000-2002, and serves on the Resolution of Fee Dispute Board for the 15th Judicial Circuit. Bret also currently serves on the Horry County Probate Advisory Council. He has also previously served on the Legacy Advisory Council, Chanticleer Athletic Foundation, and Accounting Advisory Board at Coastal Carolina University, and he currently serves on the Coastal Carolina Education Foundation. Bret is also a board member of the South Carolina Tax Council.
He earned his B.S. degree in Finance and Insurance and Economic Security from the University of South Carolina; his J.D. degree from Mississippi College School of Law, where he received the American Jurisprudence award in corporate tax; and his LL.M. degree and Certificate in Estate Planning from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.
Bret is an active member of his church and married with three children, and enjoys playing golf and working on his family farm.
