Friedly, Ward & Peterson is a law firm established in 1937 with an office in Mountain Home, ID. At this office location, there are 2 lawyers practicing general, trial practice, corporate law and 19 other areas of law.
I have hired many attorneys to help with various legal issues through the years. Mr. Ward rates as a top three attorney I have hired over a 25 year period. He is particularly knowledgeable in Idaho law and knew the information from memory. What I particularly like about Mr. Ward was his ability to explain complex law in terms I could understand. I needed an atty. because an insurance company was not paying me as the beneficiary because we were no longer married. They had to prove the deceased intent. They were very slow at getting things done and it seemed it was beneath them to do this, but they charged me for every second on the phone and all correspondence. I think that their charges were way out of line.
Robert Ward talks in circles. Even if you do understand something he acts as though you do not so you feel insulted. He makes up fees and costs to charge you more. I spoke to a few other lawyers after I started using him. I wish I had switched before it was too late.
