As I approach the end of my days (I am well beyond the "best when used by" date), I wondered how to thank a couple professionals that have been outstanding help in my business career. As my corporate attorney and friend for 35 years, I hope the following does justice to his ability, professionalism and character. I first met Mr. Bufkin while interviewing law firms for a new counsel for my technology company. In the interview process, it became clear that he clearly understood the challenges of rapid corporate growth. He was also a CPA which was a major advantage when I sold the company to a public company. During the years he was our corporate counsel his superior communication skills and wisdom provided invaluable guidance.
