About Lee M. Heath

Lee Heath advocates for victims who have been harmed by toxic chemical exposure caused by corporate misconduct and negligence.

Lee represents clients in multidistrict litigation alleging environmental harms associated with the use of firefighting Aqueous Film-Forming Foams (AFFF), which contain toxic PFAS chemicals. She also litigates on behalf of Maryland communities against W.L. Gore & Associates, Inc., for allegedly causing irreparable harm to the environment and human health through the manufacture and wrongful disposal of PFAS-containing products. Her previous environmental experience includes representing communities impacted by polluted groundwater and representing a state government against poultry integrators accused of polluting natural resources with poultry waste.

Lee has additional experience representing victims who suffered catastrophic injuries caused by vehicle defects, commercial and industrial equipment, work site injuries, vehicle accidents, medical malpractice as well as victims affected by corporate misconduct and consumer fraud.

Lee has a background in environmental studies including experience as a project manager over multimillion dollar accounts for a South Carolina-based chemistry and radiochemistry testing laboratory. During this time, she also contributed to complex environmental litigation, including serving as a law clerk for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control equipping her with the tools, knowledge, and passion for her current work.
