Dedicated to giving back to his alma mater and community, Jamie has served in various leadership roles, including as a member of The Citadel Board of Visitors, the governing body of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. He has also held positions such as Chairman of the Board of Directors and President of The Citadel Alumni Association and as a member of the Board of Directors of The Citadel Foundation. Currently, Jamie contributes to the community by serving as a member of the City of Charleston's Citizen Police Advisory Council, fostering a stronger connection between the Charleston Police Department and the citizens it serves. Prior to entering law school, Jamie's commitment to public service was evident through his roles as a patrolman and detective with the Charleston Police Department.
