About Steven E. Waldinger

Steven E. Waldinger, a seasoned civil litigator, joined Gettinger Waldinger Monteleone Gushue & Hollis, LLP in 1988, became a partner in 1998, and now leads the firm's litigation practice. Renowned for his unique skills in commercial, landlord-tenant, and real estate litigation, Mr. Waldinger has carved out a niche representing condominiums, homeowners’ associations, and cooperatives across several New York counties. With over three decades of legal service, he has adeptly guided over 100 community association boards, addressing challenges from bylaw enforcement to complex construction disputes. His influential article in the New York Law Journal reshaped condominium foreclosure representation. An accomplished speaker, he educates on efficient collection strategies and more. Additionally, Mr. Waldinger handles commercial and residential real estate disputes, medical malpractice, and personal injury cases. Active in northern Westchester County, he has held numerous leadership roles, including Past President of the Northern Westchester Bar Association and President of the Somers Holocaust Memorial Commission. The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
