Guidance provided was inaccurate and had little knowledge of the law. Communication was quick when money was requested but not about the case. In court it was obvious that even though he billed for dozens of hours he had very little understanding of the case.
Called this firm to work on a real estate closing. After paying the fee did not hear from them on the progress for one month. Only after we called an email update was sent. Called today to speak to the owner and told them I would like to speak to them before filing a complaint. Of course Mr. Shipley never returned my call. So I will file a complaint with the bar or want a full refund.
