She graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Fordham University, where she double-majored in English and Spanish. After earning her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School, she served as the Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Mahlon L. Fast, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County, Civil Division. Her professional memberships include the New Jersey State Bar Association (Health Law Section), New York State Bar Association, District of Columbia Bar Association, American Health Lawyers Association, Morris County Bar Association, and the Morris County Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Gallagher is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, the District of Columbia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Since 2001, Ms. Gallagher has served as a Barrister with the William J. Brennan American Inn of Court, educating and training young lawyers on the hallmarks of professional responsibility and the fundamentals of effective civil litigation. Annually, she is invited to return to serve as a volunteer judge in the New York Law School Annual Moot Court Competition. Ms. Gallagher is the Founder of The Nan Gallagher Law Group, LLC, a boutique healthcare law firm with offices in Morristown and Manhattan. Since 2016, she has been awarded the AVVO Client's Choice in Healthcare Award and has maintained a rating of "10 out of 10" (Superb).
