Please don't make the same mistake I did. I rarely write online reviews, but I hope this helps someone out. He charged me double what he quoted me, was very lost when his one and only office personnel was out, showed absolutely no sense of urgency on time-sensitive matters, and definitely did not take into account what was in my best interest. Please find someone else!!
John Mills is of an expired vintage who should just retire. Typos galore, incorrect account information given to banks, undermining of client, in no rush to handle time sensitive matters, no to minimal detail on invoices - and you have to ask for it, couldn’t tie his shoes without his secretary, involves himself in everything except what he’s hired to do. Do not waste your money. Four typos in one three line paragraph including multiple misspellings of client’s name? I understand he’s not a big city attorney but learn how to spell or hire someone who can. Very sloppy. I personally think he wrote those two five star reviews or got a friend to do it. He’s a hearty proponent of cronyism whether it benefits his client or not. If I could give him zero stars I would. Completely unprofessional on a level I wouldn’t have thought possible. Unethical, uncouth, thin skinned and should be disbarred. Hire a competent attorney. Mr. Mills is anything but.
Lost my case. Mostly due to neglect and avoiding work, colluding with opposing attorney. Had to go back and correct it. Forged my signature on a bill too to get paid. Flustered when one of his staff was leaving early, yelled, was hyperventilating on a simple job.
