Most impersonal interaction I’ve ever experienced with an attorney in any situation as a client. She does not respond to telephone calls, only email. As her client on recent real estate transaction I was ignored, did not even introduce herself, in complete deference to the agent. I rated the quality of service as “average” because the transaction was completed. Nothing about the process was pleasant.
She represented me as the seller in a real estate transaction. Prior to closing i DocuSign closing statement. At closing my real estate agent represented me and noticed she had changed the closing statement adding cost to me. I was forced to sign again on my phone so transaction would happen. I have called numerous times and left messages to get explanation of a charge. My messages were only returned once from an assistant who could not answer my question but would have attorney call me- never happened. Most unprofessional closing i have ever experienced.
We refinanced our condo in Atlantic Beach in September of 2020. About 6 months later, I received a notice from the city that apparently this attorney never paid the city taxes out of our closing costs. I spoke with her assiatant to let her know about the problem and was told "we'll look into it and get back to you". That was a month or so ago and I've yet to receive a reply. I've called three times since and always got an answering maching. I've left three messages but nobody has bothered to reply to me. I now have a Lien on my property diue to the taxes not being paid.
