The staff is horrific! Lassiter doesn’t prepare for your case. I was told my case was continued only to find out, Lassiter just didn’t show up nor did I bc of him. He screamed at me 10 mins before my deposition, didn’t even know who or what I was asking for. Never gave any information or guidance in deposition. Do not think you are getting a deal. They will treat you like you are doing something wrong asking for updates, explanations about paperwork or advice. The didn’t even know how to set up a Zoom call!!! Unprofessional and a waste of money!!!
I engaged Mr Lassiter in a custody battle to get my grandchildren out of a shelter in Arizona. Mr Lassiter and his staff won me custody in December ,2015. They all worked diligently on my and the children's behalf and 6 months Later I had full custody. I now live with my grandchildren in Massachusetts. Mr Lassiter and his staff saw me through a very difficult time in my life and I am very grateful. He knows what he's doing and does it well. I would hire him again.
Andrew Lassiter is the only lawyer I found in Morehead City and surrounding areas who offered a free consultation. He was very accessible and gave me good information and answered all of my questions.
Mr. Lassiter collected a $500 retainer and said my case should be 'easy'. It has now been 1.5 years and only once during that time did he call me. Staff very rude and unhelpful. He was never available to discuss any progress with me. Others are right - once he has the check in his pocket, he does nothing.
DO NOT!!! UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE go to this law firm. RUN RUN RUN. Once you pay your fee he wont contact you. NO COMMUINCATION
Hired him for visitation hearing. He never prepared for hearing and didnt know the case at all. Very rude staff. Once he has your fee he no longer cares. Remember you get what you pay for. We should have represented ourselves. Not at all honest and almost works for opposing side. God help him for the damage he is causing to numerous children. Dont buy into the act of concern. He just wanted the $2500.
