Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.I am pleased to provide a positive review of my experience working with the Broder Law Group, particularly with Sheri Pecarsky. Our case involved a complex landlord-tenant issue intertwined with an estate matter. Prior to engaging the services of Broder Law Group, we had consulted with two other law firms that did not effectively address our main concern of selling a property with a tenant in residence. Sheri Pecarsky's expertise in real estate and estate law proved invaluable in guiding us through this challenging situation. Her commitment to achieving a favorable outcome was unwavering. I am truly grateful to Sheri Pecarsky and the Broder Law Group for their professionalism and efficiency in resolving our case. With Sheri's guidance, we were able to navigate the complexities of real estate law and reach a satisfactory resolution. Unlike our previous experiences, Sheri and her team provided the personalized attention and legal expertise necessary to address our specific needs.
Seth Broder was hired to provide legal service for me as power of attorney for the sale of my sister’s home in NJ. I chose Seth for two reasons. The first was that my sister used Shari of the firm for some estate legal services. The second was I checked on the internet what was a typical fee for attorney service for a home sale in NJ and found it to be $1500 to $2000. When I asked Seth what his fee would be he stated on the phone call “about $1500” as the” buyer attorney has more heavy lifting” As it turned out the sale was elongated due to the buyer having some difficulty securing financing. However, the fee ended up being over $5000. That is more than triple the original estimate. When asked to reduce the fee or even acknowledge the original estimate Seth refused. The fee agreement was based on hourly rates not a fixed fee. The services provided were professional and high quality but I felt I was taken advantage of in the high price required to be paid.
