Mr. Meyerson is the conservator of my handicapped sons trust. I received a letter from the trustee, stating that the amount of monthly disbursements to my son were not in accordance with the governing language of the court ordered trust agreement. In my opinion Mr. Meyerson authorized thousands of dollars of monthly disbursement overpayments. I feel that this money should still be in the trust, being invested, gaining interest, etc. Of course there were other disbursements beside the regular monthly disbursements, but the regular monthly disbursements were only supposed to increase by 3% compounded annually. Mr. Meyerson would simply increase the regular monthly disbursements when he should not have done so. Even if the trust could be raided, the regular monthly disbursements should have remained in accordance with the terms of the court ordered trust agreement. Mr. Meyerson was appointed by the court. If it were up to me, knowing what I know now, I would not have hired Mr. Meyerson.
My son is being financially exploited by the person(s) living with and off him. Mr. Meyerson did begin the process of asking this person(s) what they are contributing to the monthly expenses. He decided to let it go, so my son continues to pay all expenses. Now the house purchased by the trust and approved by Mr. Meyerson is having structural problems. The house is not safe to live in, but Mr. Meyerson refuses to do anything about it.
