On January 1, 1964, Oakley Melton, Jr., opened the doors to his solo practice, laying the foundation for a diverse, general law practice that has evolved through the years. Joe Espy, III joined Mr. Melton’s practice in November, 1973. The firm of Melton & Espy was established in January, 1977. James E. Williams became a member of the firm in 1983, and the firm name was later changed to Melton, Espy & Williams, P.C. Other members of the firm are: J. Flynn Mozingo (1996), C. Mark Bain (2001) , and Benjamin J. Espy (2002). William M. Espy joined the firm as an associate in 2008.

Hired Attorney Mr. Charles Bain

Extraordinary, to put into one word. I will never go to anyone else for legal advice again. Professional, ethical, and with the drive to win. He responded immediately and once he took my case he didn't look back. This was a probate case and I thought this would be a long dragged out litigation process and He had results within the first week. He made the process simple and easy to understand. He knows law, and he knows the system. The man is a genius . He was well worth it, and I wouldn't go to anyone else. he's definitely my go to guy, for any legal advice. I definitely plan on keeping him for any of my entertainment legal matters, there is noone else that has earned my trust more than Mark.

Hired Law Firm

After I received a DUI charge about 3 years ago; my father-in-law's neighbor (who was a retired lawyer) recommended Mr. Espy. I don't recommend this firm for DUI because they charged me $7500 and my case was dismissed. I went to the police station and got all paperwork after Bill said he would do it. The case was dismissed because of a no show. I've worked with other lawyers since my DUI and now I have experience in the legal system. My initial meeting with Bill was most disturbing due to ethics
