Jamie Kidd Frawley is a founding partner and shareholder of Webb McNeill Walker PC. Jamie is the primary contact for the Firm’s appellate practice group. She has successfully defended against petitions for writ of certiorari to the United States Supreme Court, including serving as the lead attorney of the defense group in a challenge by former members of the Birmingham Water Works Board to a statute restructuring the Board in the wake of controversy over its provision of services. She regularly represents clients on a broad range of issues before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Alabama Supreme Court, and the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals, including at oral argument.
In addition, Jamie is regularly involved in complex litigation in Federal and State court, specifically including labor and employment law issues, civil rights litigation, and issues of statutory and regulatory construction in areas such as tax policy, securities litigation, and land use. Jamie also provides training, policy review, and counsel to public and private entities seeking to practice proactive risk management.
Prior to joining the Firm, Jamie served as an Assistant Attorney General with the Alabama Department of Public Health, where she gained valuable experience with administrative processes.
