Steven J. Miller caused nothing but enormous amounts of stress, anxiety and did this to me knowing I suffer from an illness. He stole my settlement money for almost 2 years. It took for me to hire another attorney and file a lawsuit against Steve for him to give me my money. I know he has treated others in such a disgusting manner. Please bare with me, I am a senior and using a language app for my review. I am doing this because anyone who is thinking about using Steve as an attorney should be aware of the kind of person he is. Especially if you are Hispanic with very limited English. I was grossly ignored and Steve NEVER accommodated me as a client due to the language barrier. My case went on for over six years, he never kept me up to date, one time we had a court hearing and it was his job to get an interpreter so that I would understand my own case, he left without saying goodbye and I was told to go to another room upstairs by a staff member. I sat until the end of the courts work day without anyone telling me that my case was done when Steve left in the morning! I was absolutely shocked & upset that Steve didn’t have the decency to tell me the case was over and brief me about what was said. Steve gave me a ridiculously messy and unorganized invoice. My daughter noticed I was overcharge. People should file.

I just read a review that I swore I wrote. This guy's a fluke. My case dragged on for years before I saved enough money to go elsewhere. The ONLY time he acknowledged my case and worked in it, was the day the opposing side's attorney contacted him. Other than that, he was never in the office or available, yet I was charged for hours or work that wasn't being done. This guy need to be disbarred in the state of California. Years after I let him go, I'm still picking up the pieces from the divorce that wasn't completed back in 2015. If it weren't for my ex-wife and her attorney, I wouldn't have ever known his lack of work ethics. I was charged for the calls I made to his office, all to reach a voicemail that no one ever returned. I was told not to pay him for the miniscule work that he did. All I've got to say, is unethical, lazy, no response, no work and nothing completed.

This attorney should not be practicing. He is unethical and has no follow through. He does not provide you with vital information regarding your case. Mr Miller does sub par work at his best and is totally unreliable. If you want to have your case last years with no results this is your guy.
