Ellie Bragg, a native of Monroe, North Carolina, earned her law degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Licensed in North Carolina and in the United States Western District of North Carolina, Ellie began her legal career in 2015 with a local private practice, focusing on criminal defense, family law, civil litigation, and personal injury. In April 2019, she merged her practice with Tee Leitner. Before law school graduation, Ellie gained valuable experience as a student attorney with the NCCU Domestic Violence Clinic, the NCCU Juvenile Defense Clinic, the Wake County Public Defender’s Office, and the Union County District Attorney’s Office. She has served in various leadership roles with the Union County Bar and remains active with several local and national non-profits, including the American Red Cross, Community Shelter of Union County, and the Alliance for Children.
Ellie lives in Monroe with her husband, Will, and their son. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and is a passionate Tar Heel fan.
