Very thorough and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone. He is a good man and I have all the respect in the world for him.
Has conflicted personal and professional relationship with the original owner and an employee, 'finance director' of a company called 'Compassionate Companions'. Has been involved in funneling his clients into needless guardianships and this being investigated by the Michigan AG. Fales to perform in a timely manner, and failed to note the conflicted relationships with this company as they continued to breach and also failed to perform. Mr. Fales struggles with issues of honesty and integrity in his dealings with his clients as he values his emotional attachments to one employee and 'business partnership' with the original owner over hos original commitment to his clients. He has also been securing a contract to act as the attorney for this company without his client's knowledge. If Mr. Fales suggests creating a trust, be careful. Use a different 'fiduciary', such as a bank. Don't believe Fales when he claims 'this is the only trustee that the judge will work with'.
