Hired Attorney Margaret H. Pruitt

Atty M Pruitt’s firm was assigned to handle a succession case at Hudson, Potts & Bernstein over a year and a half ago. While the property involved was sold several months ago, the heirs have yet to receive any distribution or final resolution. Communication has been extremely limited throughout, and the firm’s process discourages follow-up. Calls are neither welcomed nor returned promptly and what’s more concerning is that client inquiries appear to be billable, which further disincentivizes updates or transparency. The overall experience has felt like a closed-door process with little regard for client peace of mind or urgency. I cannot recommend this firm or Ms. Pruitt based on my experience.

Horrible lawyer. Horrible service. Horrible communication. Billed outrageous amounts for even calling an trying to get updates. Choose ANY other lawyer for your legal needs. Succession has been going on over a year with no updates, no results even after I was told 2 months ago it would be finished in 30 days.
