He was very personable and handled my case well.
I hired Mr. Stanley to represent me in a real estate transaction that moved from the possibility of a partition suit to a straight forward sale. During the negotiations, I did not receive a monthly statement of billing as stipulated in the contract. It appears I was charged senior attorney rate for work routinely done by the legal assistant. I was charged when I requested documents be corrected for spelling (my name!) and grammar. I have twice requested a reduction of my bill to reflect hourly charges for the work. Mr. Stanley’s first response was a three page letter with the main focus on how I settled for a sale price below the market value. I feel this response comes from the change from a lengthy costly legal proceeding to a straight forward real estate transaction. I am very disappointed in how my concerns have been addressed by the Stanley Law Group.
