About Mr. Michael Ralph Holberg

I have been practicing law for 29 years, primarily in the areas of Probate Administration, Probate Litigation, Trust Litigation and Civil Litigation.  I take pride in efficiently handling my cases and providing personalized care to my clients.  I am a 3rd generation lawyer, practicing with my father, Ralph G. Holberg, III, (currently in his 58th year) and for a few years with my late grandfather, Ralph G. Holberg, Jr.  I am a native Mobilian having graduated from UMS in 1986, receiving a B.A. in Political Science in 1990 from the University of Alabama and my J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1993.  I practice primarily in Mobile and Baldwin Counties but can practice throughout the State in Probate, Circuit and the Federal Courts.  I am married and have 3 children.  I enjoy and take pride in helping people and if you think I can be of assistance, please let me hear from you.

Hired Attorney

Attorney Holberg is truly a praiseworthy lawyer. He is knowledgeable, intelligent, confident, and passionate about his client’s cases. I especially appreciated him effectively explaining my options and key strategies for my case. He worked hard to gather information and research to enhance the options and strategies he proposed. Beyond being a highly skilled and extremely knowledgeable lawyer, Attorney Holberg exhibits rare vesting in his clients that puts you at ease about knowing that your case will be handled fully, professionally, and right the first time. I highly recommend Attorney Holberg and his law firm to my family and closest friends. In my experience, he was able to provide a level of service far greater than standard law firms. Hired Attorney

Michael has been simply amazing in his handling of a decade long issue for my family. It took him no time to resolve what we’ve had no luck doing. He explained what he could do, and kept us informed throughout the process. His ability to clearly communicate and get a resolution has been both incredible and a blessing. Hired Attorney

We hired Mr. Holberg to get back family money that had been stolen by a family member. We caught him misinforming us about our rights and the contents of a trust in order to get us to go along with the opposition attorney. His efforts blocked us from getting our records and our stolen assets until we let him go. Before I fired him, he even tried to pit his own clients against each other, promising one the lion's share of assets, and trying to make her distrust other members of her team.
