Hired Law Firm

The attorney that handled my account did a very nice job. However, his partner padded the billing on the project very blatantly and the associate was unable to get satisfactory resolution for us in this matter. Messages left with the managing partner of the Jackson, MS branch to discuss the matter went unreturned. Very poor value for the money with very unethical billing issues. Complaint resolution nonexistent.

Hired Attorney Peter C. Vilmos

I retained Peter Vilmos at this firm to represent me in a dispute with my landlord. After spending over $10,000, I was no closer to a resolution. Despite having a clear contract law issue, he repeatedly advised me to “come to an agreement” rather than pursue the matter in court. Ultimately, I decided to hire a different attorney, J. Marc Jones, who quickly filed for summary judgment — which we won. The landlord appealed, and we prevailed again in appellate court, where I was awarded five years’ worth of legal fees related to the matter. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Peter Vilmos if you are looking for an attorney who will truly listen, advocate for you, and fight for your legal rights.

Screen your attorneys for ethics and values better. The lawyer I was involved with did not care what he did or how honest it was as long as he got the desired result. Lacking in integrity. One bad apple spoils the whole bunch and the apple I am talking about has worms.

Hired Attorney Mr. Ralph Mangione Jr.

He was recommended to us by a colleague, but I felt that his people skills and priorities were in the wrong place. We spent money during meetings with him sharing his family stories while we needed help with custody. His staff did the work and it was poor in that typos and incorrect gender were reported on our granddaughter. I would not hire him again.

Hired Attorney Eric S. Golden

Bad management of the Burr & Forman office. They took my money (a lot of money) and.... perform almost no work and even damaged my case. I would not recommend working with Eric S, Golden as he seems to care about collecting the money and not providing the service.

Burr and Forman LLP is a cheater of an organization that is out there to bleed all their clients dry. These people are ignorant and unprofessional in the way they work which eventually hurts the chances of the case. The associates go about their work in an unqualified manner which is not what is expected of a good law firm. Waste of money.
