Kevin Twidwell is a litigator at Kaleva Law Office and has more than 25 years of experience as an attorney. He grew up in Butte, Montana, and received his undergraduate degree in Journalism from the University of Montana before working as a newspaper reporter.
After covering police and legal issues as a journalist, Kevin attended law school, graduating with honors from the University of Montana School of Law in 1994. He thenworked as a judicial law clerk for U.S. District Court Judge Charles C. Lovell before joining the litigation department at the Seattle law firm of Davis Wright Tremaine. There, he represented large private and governmental entities in complex litigation. Kevin moved back to Missoula in 2002 to raise his daughters, and has practiced in the state and federal courts there since that time.
Kevin represents school districts in a variety of matters, including Title IX investigations, discrimination claims before the Human Rights Bureau and in the courts, negligence matters, personal injury lawsuits and employment issues. He also has experience in representing businesses and individuals in areas such as product liability, medical malpractice, professional negligence, insurance coverage, and mass tort claims.
He is an avid runner and spends a lot of time with his two canine companions on the trails around Missoula.
