Steven is an associate in the firm’s professional liability - health care practice group, where he works with clients on complex health care and litigation matters. He supports clients by helping them navigate legal challenges with a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach.

Before joining Meagher + Geer, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jennifer K. Fischer of the Eighth Judicial District of Minnesota and the Honorable Thomas A. Gilligan of the Second Judicial District of Minnesota, where he gained insight into judicial decision-making and case management.
He earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he served as a Writing Center fellow and was active in moot court, competing in the William E. McGee National Civil Rights, Affinity, and Environmental Law Moot Court Competitions. During law school, he also interned with The Advocates for Human Rights, where he supported immigration attorneys in the Refugee and Immigrant Program, primarily working on humanitarian parole petitions to reunite refugee families.
Steven graduated with honors from the University of Chicago, earning a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies in the Humanities and Latin American Studies.
Before pursuing law, Steven worked in education for nine years in a variety of roles.
Outside the office, he enjoys sewing, playing recreational basketball, and cooking.
