Martha is an associate in the firm’s insurance practice, where she works with insurers and businesses to navigate complex litigation matters. Drawing on her experience in high-stakes commercial disputes, she helps clients develop practical, strategic solutions to challenging legal issues. She also does substantial work in the professional liability practice area and has extensive experience in motion practice.

Before joining Meagher + Geer, Martha practiced at an international law firm, where she handled complex commercial litigation for high-profile clients. This experience gave her a strong foundation in managing high-stakes cases and navigating sophisticated legal issues.
Martha earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School. While in law school, she served as President of the Moot Court Board and was actively involved in the Pro Bono Honor Society and Black Law Students Association. She also worked as a Student Attorney, representing clients in post-conviction appeals, litigating criminal matters, and supporting the Innocence Project of Wisconsin.
Martha graduated summa cum laude from Iowa State University with a B.A. in Political Science, where she held several leadership roles, including serving as President of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
Outside the office, Martha enjoys baking and hiking with her beagle, Mr. Pibb.
