Katie is an associate in the firm’s mass tort, toxic tort, and products liability practice groups, where she works with companies facing complex, high-exposure claims. She helps clients navigate litigation efficiently and develop practical, strategic defenses in challenging cases.

Before joining Meagher + Geer, Katie clerked for the Honorable Nelson L. Peralta in the Fourth Judicial District of Minnesota, where she gained valuable insight into judicial decision-making and case management.
Katie earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she served as a Lead Articles Editor for the San Diego Law Review. During law school, she gained hands-on litigation experience through externships with the Superior Court of California, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, and the San Diego City Attorney’s Office.
Before law school, Katie worked as a paralegal in Minneapolis, supporting civil litigation matters and building a strong foundation in case preparation and client service. She holds a B.S. in Biology, with a minor in Religion, from the University of Puget Sound.
Outside of her legal practice, Katie enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, canoeing, and camping. Each year, Katie and her family take a canoeing trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, a tradition she especially enjoys.
