About Andrew D Parker

Since 1998, consistently named by his peers as one of the top 5% of all lawyers practicing in the state of Minnesota, including recognition as one of the top 40 employment and appellate lawyers in the state, Andrew Parker has a national reputation as one of the preeminent trial attorneys in the region.

Mr. Parker has been lead trial counsel on numerous multi-million dollar litigation matters ranging from partnership disputes, breach of shareholder agreements, business-to-business disputes, human resources and employment disputes, civil rights actions, minority shareholder and corporate breakup litigation. Mr. Parker has also handled several cutting-edge creditor's rights and Federal Debt Collection Practices Act lawsuits on behalf of creditors and collection companies. In addition, Mr. Parker has represented some of the largest government employers in the State of Minnesota, including the University of Minnesota, the City of Minneapolis, and the Metropolitan Council.

Mr. Parker has worked on legislative staffs both in Washington D.C. and at the Minnesota State Capital. Mr. Parker has been appointed by multiple Governors to state commissions on issues of public policy.

Prior to launching Parker Daniels Kibort in 2017, Mr. Parker founded and operated the Parker Rosen law firm. Previous to that, Mr. Parker founded and operated Smith Parker, and was a shareholder at the law firm of Popham Haik, Schnobrich & Kaufman, Ltd., where Mr. Parker was the chair of the 30-attorney labor and employment practice group. Mr. Parker has extensive experience in administrative and regulatory proceedings with local, state and federal agencies. His achievements in contested case hearings and arbitration hearings have led to invitations to speak at state and national conferences on adversarial proceedings.

An active community leader, Mr. Parker is the cofounder of the Minnesota Chapter of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) where he served as co-chair from 2000 through 2005 and is currently on the National Council of AIPAC. Mr. Parker also currently serves on various public policy and philanthropic boards of directors.
