I don't know where to begin but Mr Collins saved not only my life but my family's life as well. There would have been no other attorney in the country that would have gotten me out of the situation I was in. About 10 years ago I read on the first page of Newday that the New York State legislature was considering a bill that would let persons convicted of certain felonies in New York State to have their record sealed. The star of the article was Attorney Mr Collins. He was pushing for this bill because he understood that it was not fair for certain crimes for a person to be punished forever. By punished I mean not be able to get a job and support their family for something they did say 20 or 30 years ago. Well several years ago the bill became law and I hired Mr Collins and Mr Nash to help me. They spent 30 minutes listening to my story and then said they could help. There is never a guarantee that the DA and the Judge will sign off and seal a felony but they thought my case was perfect for this law. They did a great job and communicated with me throughout the process and we won. My record was sealed. Mr Collins is a compassionate lawyer who really cares about his client and the outcome.
