Hired Attorney David Bythewood

I hired him to assist me with a civil service work-related evaluation appeal. He would write a letter of appeal based on law. I went to his office three times and upon arrival the third time, he sat down at his computer to begin writing the letter. The final product was not based on law, but based on nothing. It amounted to "please change my evaluation". I refused to pay his final bill, requested any & all documents relating to my case. He sent back one document - when I had provided several documents relating to my work. Worhtless lawyer - don't waste your money!

Hired Attorney David Bythewood

Retained him for a simple housing case. To make short when I went to court believing there was going to be a trial he gave me papers to sign outside I asked him what evidence he used to make a decision to plea case without my consent he has not told me up to now I was not guilty so there was no evidence I think my case was not important to him so it cost me money

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
