In 2016, he founded the Mineola law firm of Collins Gann McCloskey & Barry, where he managed the personal injury division and recovered tens of millions of dollars for the firm's clients. In 2026, David founded Barry Injury Law--a concierge, boutique Garden City litigation firm where he continues to focus his practice on serious personal injury litigation and delivering results for his clients.
David has received numerous honors during his legal career. He is a former Board Member of Directors of the Nassau County Bar Association, the country’s largest suburban lawyer’s association. He is also a part Chair of the Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Committee at the Nassau County Bar Association.
