I met with Attorney Nawrocki last week. She had not reviewed the files I shared regarding my case and was not aware that certain files were even included. I spent a significant part of our meeting simply filling her in on the information found in the documents. I left having received no counsel on how to proceed in my case and feeling very discouraged.
Sent documentation about case as requested, sent retainer. Was requested to send a full copy of the family trust (352 pages) despite sending pages that had sufficed for 10 years of previous legal and financial dealings with government, financial and legal firms in 3 other states. Meanwhile I learned that my renter had refused to sign the Notice to Vacate (1st step in an eviction). Called, texted and emailed the person with whom I'd had contact. Finally received a reply. My only contact with an attorney. An email saying they were not a good fit and would return my retainer for services. As I was the only person to do any services I was thrilled they didn't charge me for that.
