About James T. Morris

Mr. Morris has been an integral part of the Massachusetts Inspector General Advisory Council since 1984, currently holding the position of Chairman.

He served as the Vice Chair of the University of Massachusetts Building Authority from 1982 to 1996 and later chaired the Massachusetts State College Building Authority from 1996 to 2017.

A distinguished alumnus of Suffolk University Law School, where he earned his J.D. in 1971, Mr. Morris has received accolades for his exemplary service to the Commonwealth, including the prestigious Certificate of Outstanding Service.
