Hired Attorney Mr. Cedric Bernard Davis

This review has been a long time coming, more than 20 years. I had the misfortune of having Mr Davis as my court appointed attorney. Mr Davis made it clear he didn't care about my guilt or innocence. I only spoke to him once before he represented me in court. In that conversation, I brought forth a list of witnesses. He told me I didn't need them because it was an open and shut case. I then moved on to ask about my own testimony. He told me I would not need to testify. We came to court. It was a travesty. The judge asked "who wants to start this shindig". My Davis said he would go first which perplexed me. He then called the star witness against me. I asked him what he was doing, he said he was cross examining her. Cross examining what? She had not said anything to be cross examined. He then questioned the witness as if he were her attorney. He set me up for a guilty verdict. Mr Davis is a despicable person and incompetent attorney.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
