Aimee Talian is an amazing judge that wants parents to be the best versions of themselves for their children. Aimee is aggressive when she needs to be. She knows exactly what to say when it needs to be said. She uses common sense & acts accordingly.

Ms. Talion did not respond to my questions and concerns within a reasonable amount of time. Additionally, often her responses were vague and bordering on rude. I was charged additional fees for services I believed should have been covered in the initial retainer. I was generally not satisfied with her even though she accomplished what she was hired to do.

How was This Lawyer appointed to judge? She definitely was not voted in by the citizens of Lake County. Every dog has there day, and her term as a Magistrate soon will pass.

Working with this lawyer really has shown that She doesn't read over her paperwork. She is highly un-attentive and not concerned with her clients. Listening without formulating an opinion is a skill that could enhance her in this profession. She will collaborate with the other lawyer to milk you.

This corrupt judge will interject her politics into the case. If you speak to her Democrat politics she’ll side with you automatically. This woman has no business being a judge she is neither fair nor reasonable. Expect the worst outcome if this terrible person is making a decision on your kids life’s.

This judge refuses to look at facts when presented and will put your child in the care of a unfit parent. This woman should never be able to dictate a child's future because she refuses to read over evidence!

Lazy excuse of legal representation. Reckless with the lives of children and the futures they may have...or could have had without her. I would recommend representing yourself in court before going with her. As a magistrate in Crown Point IN she is causing massive damage to the future of the lives of children. There's no way she would be elected by the people and her actions speak volumes to that fact. We need better people representing the state in regards to the future of our kids.

Judge Talian Prioritizes Bias Over Justice If you’re expecting fairness in Judge Talian’s courtroom, think again. This judge had all the evidence in front of her—clear proof of my child’s mother’s drug abuse, alcoholism, and reckless behavior—yet she ignored it all and still forced a 50/50 custody arrangement. Why? Because rather than protecting an innocent child, she let personal bias dictate her ruling. Talian knew that the mother’s husband is a sexual predator, but instead of prioritizing my child’s safety, she acted like it was no big deal. She even had the audacity to call me a liar despite overwhelming evidence staring her in the face. And when I simply requested child support—something that should be a given in a shared custody arrangement—she denied it out of pure spite. But the worst part? The mother of my child has never even taken care of our daughter. She has openly admitted in court that she doesn’t care what happens, yet somehow, Talian believed she was fit!

The rudest and most insensitive woman. To say that this judge has the "best interest of the child" is hysterical. Doesn't actually look into a case and go by facts, but does whatever will put money back into her pockets.
