Taylor H. Scheiner is a Partner in the firm's Miami office. Mr. Scheiner received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law, cum laude, where he made the Dean's List five semesters and graduated in the top 20th percent of his class. While attending law school, Mr. Scheiner was the Law Clerk for a prominent insurance company's In-House Counsel, a teaching assistant for legal writing and appellate advocacy courses, and was the research assistant to the Dean of the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law.

Mr. Scheiner is an Associate fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America and a member of the Trial Law Institute and Diversity Law Institute, an inivitation-only construction lawyer honorary society with membership limited to 1,200 practicing Fellows from the United States and internationally. Mr. Scheiner has been recognized by his peers in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch 2021-2025 in the practice areas of Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, and Litigation - Construction. Mr. Scheiner also has been recognized as a 2023 and 2024 Rising Star, with an emphasis in Construction Litigation, by the Florida Super Lawyers Magazine , an honor received by only 2.5% of attorneys in Florida.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
