Moses Lisker is a member of Greenberg Traurig’s Tax Practice. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced tax law in Mexico, providing cross-border advice and litigation services to Mexican and international clients. He advises public and private companies on U.S. federal income tax matters concerning mergers and acquisitions.
Experience
Representative Matters
• Participated in the representation of clients challenged by the Mexican tax authorities on reported transactions deemed as simulated/inexistent, as provided by Article 69-B of the Mexican Federal Tax Code.°
• Prepared complex documentation acceptable to U.S. customs authorities to facilitate cross-border importation of Mexican grape-sourced products.°
• Participated in drafting trust structures to ensure that they are not subject to Mexico’s anti-deferral tax regime (REFIPRE).°
