In 2014, Ms. Dumbat Cabrera moved to Miami, where she continued her legal studies at Florida International University, College of Law. In that institution, Ms. Dumbat Cabrera completed an LLM program for Foreign Attorneys and further earned her Juris Doctor degree ranking second of her class. Since her admission to the Florida Bar, Ms. Dumbat Cabrera has focused her career on representing those who have been injured as a result of the negligence of others.
