Marc P. Kunen represents clients nationwide as a Shareholder at Ferraro Law, where he focuses his practice on complex civil litigation involving product liability, catastrophic personal injury, asbestos and mesothelioma cases, toxic torts, multi-district litigation (MDL), and wrongful death. Based in Miami, Florida, Mr. Kunen represents clients across the country in high-stakes litigation and has delivered substantial results both in and out of the courtroom.
Since earning his law degree magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 2011, Mr. Kunen has earned wide recognition for his litigation success. He has served as lead trial counsel in multiple high-profile verdicts, including a $70,102,000 award in Thornton v. GEA Mechanical Equipment US, Inc.—the third-largest verdict in Florida in 2019, and a $9,000,000 verdict in Moure-Cabrera v. Johnson & Johnson, the first verdict against a talcum powder manufacturer in the State of Florida. Other notable results include $6,785,000 in Moore v. John Crane Inc., $2,854,159 in Hernandez v. Union Carbide Corporation, and $300,000 in Johnson v. ExxonMobil Corporation.
Mr. Kunen’s skill as a trial attorney has earned him a place among the National Trial Lawyers’ “Top 40 Under 40” from 2017 through 2025. In 2014, he was named a finalist for the Daily Business Review’s “Most Effective Products Liability Lawyers”. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Miami-Dade Trial Lawyers Association, and is a member of the American Association for Justice, Florida Justice Association, Dade County Bar Association, and National Trial Lawyers.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Kunen has been recognized for his community advocacy. In 2019, he was honored as South Florida’s “Champion of the Year” by Best Buddies, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
