Leticia Gonzalez Garcia is a Partner in the firm’s Miami office. She practices in the area of workers’ compensation defense. Since becoming a member of the Florida Bar in 1999, Ms. Garcia has practiced solely in the area of insurance defense specifically in the area of workers’ compensation defense. She is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Florida Bar. Ms. Garcia has represented both self-insured employers as well as large insurance carries and employee leasing entities. She has experience in handling cases from inception to final hearing as well as during the appellate process. She has argued before the 1st District Court of Appeal on workers’ compensation appeals.
Ms. Garcia received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law where she served as Executive Editor of the University of Miami International and Comparative Law Review. Prior to law school, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in International Relations from Florida International University.
Ms. Garcia is a native of Miami, Florida and has three children.
