Jonathan E. Gold is a Floridian by birth but a New Yorker by choice. He dedicates his entire practice to fighting for those in his community that have been injured because of the negligence or wrongdoing of others. The enthusiasm, determination, and individualized attention Jonathan gives to each client has produced tens-of-millions of dollars in recoveries, including many multi-million-dollar settlements.
Jonathan spearheaded the opening of our New York office and is honored to represent clients in a wide variety of personal injury cases, including car accidents, slip/trip and fall accidents, medical malpractice, product liability, negligent security, nursing home abuse and many other injury-related accidents. Every day, Jonathan arrives at the office ready to help make a difference in the lives of his clients and the communities he shares with them.
Jonathan began his career at one of New York’s most established insurance defense firms, representing some of the country’s largest insurance companies. After winning his first trial, Jonathan immediately recognized his desire to help people, not institutions. Jonathan’s valuable experience working for insurance companies taught him the strategies they use when defending personal injury cases. That knowledge has given Jonathan the unique capability to truly understand both sides of a case and continues to help him maximize results for his clients.
Jonathan worked for several prominent New York personal injury law firms before joining his family and the rest of the Gold & Gold team. Since making the switch to helping the injured, Jonathan’s tireless preparation and dedication to his clients has been dear to his heart. He prides himself on always being available to his clients and ensuring that every client, no matter the value of their case, receives the justice they deserve.
Jonathan’s success was acknowledged by his peers early in his career, landing him on the 2016 New York Metro Rising Stars® list. More recently, Jonathan was selected to the New York Metro Super Lawyers list and chosen by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys to the New York Top 10 Under 40 list. Despite his accomplishments, Jonathan continues to stay humble and true to his upbringing where hard work, loyalty and community remain the cornerstones of his practice.
