You hope that when you are paying top dollar for an attorney, that you are getting high quality work, & a shark who will help you and your case. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with this firm. I met with them in August. I had a short marriage of 3 years, with no children & one shared savings account. My ex-husband had a history of violence as a judo master & he currently works as an arms manufacturer. I have been an elementary school teacher for 5 years, yet my ex-husband was able to make an injunction claim of domestic violence against me as justification to oust me from my home. This firm did nothing to protect me, nor my interests. No forensic accounting was used against my ex-husband, nor offered. The case went on for 6 months, as a paralegal combed through solely my tiny teacher financials. When I finally asked in December why such a simple marriage was taking so long to dissolve the entire firm dropped me without consultation and kept 80% of the $15,000 retainer.
