After earning his Juris Doctor, Carlos Funes began his career in immigration law before finding his long-term focus in family law. From 2015 through 2025, he worked at a boutique firm where he handled family matters exclusively, and he continues to devote his practice to helping clients through some of life’s most personal legal challenges. Carlos represents clients in divorces, paternity cases, and post-judgment matters, and he also drafts prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. He has experience with complex disputes that involve interpreting and enforcing international agreements, giving him a strong foundation for cases that go beyond the typical family law issues. Clients value Carlos’s steady approach and his commitment to being direct and honest about expectations, options, and potential outcomes. More recently, Carlos was appointed as a Guardian ad Litem for the first time and has worked diligently to advocate for a child caught in the middle of a divorce.
