Great attorney and paralegal. Very knowledgeable in the area of real estate. He was very helpful during the whole process and communicated with every time he could to provide updates on my transaction. Thank you!
Paul Russell is a great attorney. He was recommended by my real estate agent since I was moving through it through it. At the closing, he was able to explain every paper that I signed and why I needed to sign it. He was also very funny at closing he has a funny personality. I recommend him and I have used him for two home transactions now!
Paul was the closing attorney for my recent home sale. He mailed my check the week after the closing, and after one week full week of not receiving the check, when I contacted him, his response was "I mailed it to the address provided and have no way to track." When I told him how frustrated I was with his lack of interested, he said "I'm just speaking the truth". Don't waste your time or money with this guy.
Attorney Russell is extremely unprofessional and crude. He was unresponsive, lacked information and detail and was never available. Closings transactions require specific information in which Mr. Russell's office left off, monies were mismanaged and documents missing. I would not recommend Attorney Russell for this reason.
Was selling my house & as the closing atty, Russell delegated title search to another atty who could not clear it. He was no help at all with this issue so I had no choice but involve a THIRD atty who had NO TROUBLE clearing title. Of course Russell was more than happy to pass the cost of the failed attempt to clear as well as the successful title clearing cost on to me. At the closing he also provided a generous dose of arrogance threatening to cancel the closing if I didn't pay ALL atty fees.
Attorney Paul Russell handled a routine re-financing for us back in 2002. We are in the process of selling our home, and found that the mortgage was never properly discharging resulting in a lien being placed on our property for this mortgage which was paid off 11 years ago.{para}Attorney Russell has ignored our calls and voice mails and is not helping us resolve this situation. His only response is that "I would have no files or data that would pertain to any file dated prior to 2006. " So, basically, we're on our own. Since he was the closing attorney, I feel he should bear some responsibility in resolving this issue. We may miss our target closing date due to this problem.
