Riggs Ellsworth & Porter, PLC is a law firm with an office in Mesa, AZ. At this office location, there are 4 lawyers practicing car accidents, trucking accidents, medical malpractice and 5 other areas of law.
I was very pleased with my attorney, Steven Williams, he did an excellent job on my case and he is very smart and intelligent. If I ever need an attorney ever again I would really like for him to handle any case for me. I would highly recommend him and his firm to all my family and friends. I was happy to get him and his firm to represent me.
Professional and personable, they always remembered who we were, responded quickly, had our best interests at heart, but a lot of time (2 years?) into our lawsuit.
just have to watch if they collect a whole fee or charge by the hour. Lawyer was good but took more of the settlement than what was agreed upon.
They knew I had little money to start with. Had difficulty trying to come up with $5000 retainer fee.He told me that retainer fee should cover all costs. Everything seemed to go on forever. Told them I would do anything I could to keep cost down. Kept getting bills over retainer fee. Questioned him about it and they said I signed an agreement. Looked through all my papers but was never given a copy. Firm kept messing up and I felt I was doing a lot of their job and getting charged.
Michael Ellsworth charged me 2500 out front fee, and 3000 there after. Many times of which his office over charged me on lots of things, corrected it only once, and they would send all of the papers twice so they can charge me double. I would not have paid close to $6000 for bare minimum. It was the worst lawyer I have ever had.
